Hundreds of North Korean Nuclear Experts Are Working in Iran

IRAN HAS AT LEAST TWO NUCLEAR BOMBS READY TO STICK UP ISRAELS AND SAUDI ARABIAS ASSES.  OF COURSE THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF U.S. TROOPS ROAMING AFGHANISTAN AS WELL.

                                     DECISIONS,  DECISIONS, DECISIONS

Korean News is reporting that hundreds of North Korean scientists are collaborating with their Iranian counterparts in more than 10 locations.
Yonhap News reported, via Free Republic:

Hundreds of North Korean nuclear and missile experts have been collaborating with their Iranian counterparts in more than 10 locations across the Islamic state, a diplomatic source said Sunday.

The revelation lends credence to long-held suspicions that North Korea was helping Iran with a secret nuclear and missile program.

It also represents a new security challenge to the international community as it seeks to curb the nuclear ambitions of Pyongyang and Tehran, and thwart trading of nuclear and missile technology.

North Korea has long been suspected of being behind nuclear and missile proliferation in Iran, Syria, Myanmar and Pakistan.

Korean Chosun Ilbo News added:

A Japanese daily claims that Iran and North Korea run a joint nuclear research center to carry out computer simulations of nuclear tests.

Japan’s Sankei Shimbun on Thursday said Iran has three secret research centers across the country. And a dozen North Korean researchers and experts have visited the facilities this year to share information about nuclear technology.

The report goes on to say that the two countries are running the tests to develop starting devices for nuclear bombs.

China’s Spies Are Catching Up

THEY REALLY CAUGHT UP IN 2001 WHEN THE SOIL FROM THE TWIN TOWERS CRIME SCENE WAS TAKEN TO THEM AND THEY WENT THROUGH IT.  THERE WAS A LOT OF INFORMATION THERE.  THE C.I.A. IS NOW USELESS.

An American Trident nuclear ballistic missile submarine, gliding along the surface of the Pacific Ocean

Washington

IN 1995, a middle-aged Chinese man walked into a C.I.A. station in Southeast Asia and offered up a trove of secret Chinese documents. Among them was a file containing the top-secret design of the American W-88 nuclear warhead that sits atop the missiles carried by Trident submarines.

He told a story to the C.I.A. that was so bizarre it might just be true. He said that he worked in China’s nuclear program and had access to the archive where classified documents were stored. He went there after hours one night, scooped up hundreds of documents and stuffed them into a duffel bag, which he then tossed out a second-story window to evade security guards. Unfortunately, the bag broke and the papers scattered.

Outside, he collected the files and stuffed them back into the torn bag. Although many of the documents were of interest for their intelligence content, it was the one about the W-88 that roiled American counterintelligence most because it contained highly classified details about a cutting-edge warhead design.

The United States had been producing small nuclear warheads for decades, and the Chinese were desperate to find out how to build miniaturized warheads themselves. China’s military was, and still is, playing catch-up to the United States.

China’s success in obtaining the secret design of the W-88 is the most dramatic example of a fact that United States counterintelligence agencies have been slow to recognize: just as China has become a global economic power, it has developed a world-class espionage service — one that rivals the C.I.A.

During the cold war, dozens of counterintelligence agents in the F.B.I. and the C.I.A. pursued Soviet and then Russian spies. The K.G.B. was seen as the enemy; China took a back seat. Only a handful of F.B.I. agents specialized in Chinese spy cases, and their work was not regarded as career-enhancing. Washington’s ongoing failure to make Chinese espionage a priority has allowed China to score a number of successes in its espionage efforts against the United States.

China’s foreign intelligence service and its military intelligence agency actively spy on the American defense industry, our nuclear weapons labs, Silicon Valley, our intelligence agencies and other sensitive targets.

In January, when Robert M. Gates, then the defense secretary, was visiting China, Beijing unveiled a stealth fighter jet, the J-20. The disclosure demonstrated that China had achieved a stealth capability, allowing it to conceal its planes, ships and missiles from radar — similar to the American stealth technology that China has been seeking to acquire by clandestine means for years.

Later that month, an engineer who worked on the B-2 stealth bomber for Northrop Grumman was sentenced to 32 years in prison for passing defense secrets to China. In exchange for more than $100,000, he had helped design a stealth exhaust system for China’s cruise missiles to make it difficult to detect and destroy them.

And in August, reports attributed to American intelligence officials asserted that Pakistan had allowed Chinese experts to inspect the remains of the stealth helicopter that crashed during the May mission to kill Osama bin Laden. Although Pakistan and China denied the reports, Beijing would have a great interest in examining the tail of the Black Hawk helicopter, the part of the aircraft that was not destroyed by the Navy Seals team, to learn more secret details of American stealth technology.

Meanwhile, the mystery of the leaked W-88 warhead design remains unsolved. At first, the American government suspected that Wen Ho Lee, a Los Alamos nuclear scientist, had leaked the W-88, but it produced no evidence that he had done so. He was held in solitary confinement for nine months, eventually pleaded guilty to one count of mishandling classified information and won an extraordinary apology from the federal judge who presided over the case.

Misled by the Energy Department, the F.B.I. had chased the wrong person for three years. Finally, in 1999, Robert Bryant, then the bureau’s deputy director, enlisted Stephen Dillard, a veteran counterintelligence agent, to head a major investigation of how China had acquired the design of the W-88.

The inquiry was led by the F.B.I. and run by a task force of 300 investigators from 11 federal agencies, including the Defense Department, the C.I.A., the National Security Agency and the Defense Intelligence Agency. On Sept. 11, 2001, some of the investigators were killed when American Airlines Flight 77 was flown by terrorists into the Pentagon.

But the investigation went on. Mr. Dillard’s task force, operating out of public view, looked at the nuclear weapons laboratories, government agencies and defense contractors in California and several other states who had manufactured parts of the warhead. The F.B.I. interviewed the walk-in, who was by now living in the United States, but he could shed no light on the source of the document.

Finally, after four years, the investigation ended with American intelligence agencies no closer to knowing how China obtained the secret design of the nuclear warhead. The answer remains locked up in Beijing.

More than a decade later, China’s spies continue to conduct espionage against military targets. Last year, a Pentagon official was sentenced to prison, the last of 10 people rounded up by the F.B.I., all members of a loosely connected Chinese spy network on the West and East Coasts that was run by Lin Hong, a spymaster in Beijing. The data that made its way to China included information on the Navy’s Quiet Electric Drive, designed to make submarines harder to detect, the B-1 bomber and projected American arms sales to Taiwan.

China has even penetrated the F.B.I. In 2003, Katrina Leung, an F.B.I. informant for two decades, was found to be working as a double agent for Beijing. Astonishingly, the two top F.B.I. agents in California responsible for Chinese counterintelligence were having affairs with Ms. Leung at the same time, allowing her to help herself to classified documents that were brought to her home by one of the agents.

China’s success in stealing American secrets will provide a continuing challenge to the spy catchers. And Washington’s counterintelligence agents, accustomed to the comfortable parameters of the cold war and more recent battles against Al Qaeda, must rethink their priorities and shift their focus, resources and energy eastward to counter China’s spies.

If not, more secrets like the W-88 nuclear warhead will continue to find their way to Beijing.

Capture of US drone provides respite for Iran

Dec 11, 2011

“Satan’s eye has been gouged out,” a jubilant Iranian daily trumpeted yesterday, referring to Iran’s capture of an unmanned US surveillance drone that was apparently staking out the Islamic republic’s nuclear facilities. And the deputy chief of Iran’s armed forces warned that “the US government will have to pay a high price for its unacceptable actions”.

Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri declared: “Our defensive actions will not be limited to our geographical borders.” A leading parliamentarian, Esmail Kowsari, chipped in by warning that if another drone tried to fly over Iran, the country would “target every US military base anywhere in the world.”

Despite the lurid threats, however, analysts doubt Iran will retaliate militarily, given its inability to match American firepower. Tehran’s propaganda and intelligence coup in netting the radar-evading, RQ-170 Sentinel drone last week can instead be used by the increasingly isolated regime to drum up domestic support while bolstering its claims that Iran is the victim of American aggression.

The episode has also helped to distract attention from ever-tightening sanctions and the diplomatic fallout from the recent storming of the British Embassy in Tehran.

“It is far better to use the prospect of a western threat, which is always hanging there, to get the population to mobilise behind the regime … than actually taking action,” said Scott Lucas, an expert on Iran and US foreign policy at Birmingham University in England.

Other analysts point out that Iran has failed to retaliate against a seemingly intensifying campaign of covert operations by the US and Israel, which may be working independently or, at times, together.

There has been a spate of mysterious explosions inside Iran, nuclear scientists have been assassinated, and the uranium enrichment facility at Natanz was temporarily disrupted by the Stuxnet virus last year.

The covert campaign, together with punitive sanctions, has aimed to derail Iran’s suspected quest for nuclear weapon’s capability – an ambition Tehran denies – without having to resort to direct military action that could lead to a regional conflagration and plunge the global economy into further turmoil.

Neither the US nor Israel has acknowledged responsibility for these various attacks, although each has expressed satisfaction with any resulting setbacks to Iran’s nuclear programme.

In turn Iran, which is usually keen to blame both arch enemies for all its troubles, has gone out of its way to insist that recent explosions were accidents that had nothing to do with the ‘Great Satan’ (America) or the ‘Zionist entity’ (Israel).

The most serious ‘accident’ took place on November 12 when a huge explosion ripped through a Revolutionary Guards base 48 kilometres west of Tehran, killing at least 17 people, including a founder of Iran’s ballistic missile programme, General Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam.

So why has Iran not hit back? One theory is that despite sanctions, the mysterious explosions, assassinations and the Stuxnet attack, Tehran was steadily progressing with its nuclear programme. “And if they were to retaliate right now, they may provide [the US with the pretext] for a larger war” which could seriously set back Iran’s cherished atomic ambitions, said Trita Parsi, president of the National Iranian American Council, on relations between Iran, the US and Israel, said.

Despite heated rhetoric on both sides, neither Iran nor the US wants a military confrontation and each has shown restraint. For instance, the US had mulled plans to go into Iran and recover or destroy the captured drone but decided not to because of the “escalatory risk of it”, Dr Parsi said in an interview.

Meir Javedanfar, an Iranian-born analyst based in Israel, argues that the main goal of the US drone operation to spy on Iran was to “expose any secret nuclear activity that can be used to muscle Iran back to the negotiating table”.

He added in an interview: “I see the entire international community preferring a peaceful solution to this problem. But it seems to me the thinking in the West that (Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali) Khamenei is not going to come to the negotiating table of his own will, so he has to be forced.” Next page

US Army Now Offers A Prison Guard Specialty Securing ‘Civilian Detainees’

Every soldier that enlists in the Army chooses a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS). Designated by a number and a letter, the 31E MOS now includes advanced responsibilitiesincluding command and control of prisoner of war and civilian internee camps.

While the civilian designation likely applies to foreign nationals in their home countries, it reads more ominously now that the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is getting nods from legislators as it makes its way through the Senate.

Part of the NDAA includes amendments allowing for the arrest and indefinite detention of U.S. citizens both at home and abroad.

Below is a portion of the MOS listing at GoArmy.com.

ADVANCED RESPONSIBILITIES

Advanced level Internment/Resettlement Specialist provides guidance, supervises and trains other Soldiers within the same discipline. As an advanced level I/R Specialist, you may be involved in:

  • Supervise and establish all administrative, logistical and food support operations, confinement/correctional, custodial, treatment, and rehabilitative activities
  • Responsible for all personnel working in the confinement/correctional facility, including security, logistical, and administrative management of the prisoner/internee population
  • Provide command and control, staff planning, administration/logistical services, and custody/control for the operation of an Enemy Prisoner of War/Civilian Internee (EPW/CI) camp

Pakistani Forces Take Control of Shamsi Airbase

The U.S. military had been ordered to evacuate the base after the recent unprovoked airstrike that killed 24 Pakistani soldiers

11 December 2011

Pakistani military forces have taken control over the Shamsi airbase in the country’s southwest after ordering U.S. forces and personnel to leave.

In response to the unprovoked U.S. airstrike on a Pakistani military outpost last week, Pakistan ordered the U.S. to vacate the Shamsi airbase, from which armed drones were stationed and took off for airstrike missions. Pakistan also closed vital NATO supply routes through Pakistan to occupying troops in Afghanistan.

American personnel at the base dismantled fiber-made residential barracks which had been built for U.S. forces. They also burnt some equipment, which has been reported as routine practice.

According to Pakistani officials, the base will now be operated by the United Arab Emirates after the complete U.S. evacuation.

Newt takes heat over Palestinian comments

•  Gingrich becomes focus for Palestinian anger
  •  Claims Palestinians are an invented people
  •  Fears that comments could cause violence

COLONEL SIXX: THAT IS THE MOST INANE STATEMENT THAT ANY OF THESE BAFOONS THAT WANT TO BE PRESIDENT FROM THE G.O.P. HAS MADE.

PALESTINIANS ARE NOT INVENTED PEOPLE.  THEIR LAND IS BEING OCCUPIED BY INVENTED EUROPEAN GYPSIES.

THOSE “PEOPLE” HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE JEWS IN THE BIBLE.

THESE ARE A PEOPLE THAT WERE MADE TO CHASED OUT OF EVERY PLACE THEY GO.  THE UNITED STATES HAS IT’S NOSE SO FAR UP THE ASS OF THESE CRIMINALS BECAUSE OF MONEY.  THE BIBLE, WHICH I GUESS THE PIOUS SNAKE FROM GEORGIA READS BETWEEN DIVORCES STATES AS MUCH:

Revelation 2:9

New International Version (NIV)

9 I know your afflictions and your povertyyet you are rich! I know about the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

I AM TOLD, AND IT IS WIDELY ACCEPTED, THAT THE BOOK OF REVELATIONS WAS WRITTEN BY GOD!

God was, and is, the ultimate source of all that is in the Book of Revelation. It originated from God, was given to Jesus Christ, Who delivered it by “His angel” to John while the apostle was being held as a prisoner by the Romans (see Ancient Empires – Rome) on The Island Of Patmos some time after 90 AD. John then addressed it to The Seven Churches of Asia, as instructed (Revelation 1:11).

THIS IS GOD SAYING TO AMERICA THAT IT IS A RICH NATION THAT SUFFERS AFFLICTIONS AND POVERTY BECAUSE OF THE EVIL DONE BY LESS THAN 6 MILLION OF THE 300 MILLION CITIZENS IN THE NATION.   GOD ALSO SAYS THAT THESE VERMIN CLAIM TO BE JEWS, BUT ARE INSTEAD ARE OF SATAN.
AMERICA WILL GIVE THE LIVES OF THEIR CHILDREN TO DIE FOR SATAN.   PART OF THE POVERTY CAUSED IN AMERICA IS THAT MONEY THAT IS GIVEN THE SPAWN OF SATAN SHOULD BE USED TO FEED THE HUNGRY OF “THE WORLDS BREAD BASKET”

11 December 2011

The leading Republican contender for the US presidency has been slammed for making muddle-headed remarks about Palestinians.

The former House of Representatives Speaker, Newt Gingrich, described Palestinians as an “invented people” during an interview with the Jewish cable channel.

While official American policy supports the creation of a Palestinian state alongside Israel, Gingrich expressed his version of history, saying: “There was no Palestine as a state. It was part of the Ottoman Empire. And I think that we’ve had an invented Palestinian people who are in fact Arabs, and who were historically part of the Arab community. And they had a chance to go many places, and for a variety of political reasons we have sustained this war against Israel now since the 1940s, and I think it’s tragic.”

Palestinian officials have accused Gingrich of being rascist in denying the existence of the Palestinian people.

Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat, who has been involved in peace talks with Israel, later said the Gingrich comments were ridiculous and would harm Palestinian moderates and strengthen the militants.

He said Gingrich’s words would become ammunition for “the Bin Ladens and extremists.”

A spokesman for Mr Gingrich said the candidate supports a negotiated peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians.

The Thirteenth Tribe

Now, after many years of research, a well-known Jewish author, Arthur Koestler has published a 255 page book titled THE THIRTEENTH TRIBE in which he proves the same point; i.e. that these Eastern European “Jews” are neither Israelites nor “Semites,” but are instead Khazars, Mongols, and Huns! Most major newspapers and magazines reviewed the book during 1976. Also, Random House, the publisher, advertised it extensively and began some of their ads with the following headline: WHAT IF MOST JEWS AREN’T REALLY SEMITES AT ALL?
